Dog Photographer Of The Year Awards Ceremony

Apologies if you've had enough of me going on about this, but...

Eeek! I had to stand in front of the camera for a change last Friday and a most uncomfortable experience it was too! Thankfully it was only for a few brief moments as I posed awkwardly in front of my image in The Kennel Clubs Dog Photographer of the Year Winners exhibition.

Then another few excruciating seconds as I made the oh so long walk to be presented with my award and a print of my image.

In truth, my silly insecurities aside, it was a really great day which Fi and I enjoyed immensely, due in large part to the way we were all looked after so well by the competition organisers and friendly staff at the Kennel Club, making us all feel so special, serving wonderful food and most importantly keeping our glasses topped up!

It was so great to meet all the super talented winning photographers, I felt truly humbled to be amongst them. Congratulations again to everybody, especially Maria Davison Ramos, the overall winner.
